Menganti: The Charming South Coast to visit and stay

Menganti is located in south coast, preciously in Karangduwur Village, Ayah District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. Menganti is famous for the beauty of the view and the purity blue ocean. The tourists can see hilly natural view i.e. karst cliff which make this white sand beach always good to spend.

Menganti has two part of the view: 

The first one is the bottom part, you can enjoy white sand and coral reef. Many adult people spend here to relax with the fresh ocean air and sometimes when they bring  children, invite them to look for fish in the puddle and also collect the coral rocks.

At the bottom, tourists also can have the seafood meal that catch from local fisherman in the some foodcourts that is available.

There is one hidden spot to take picture at the bottom area, it is called Tebing Keteb Widadari or Keteb Widadari Cliffs that is located next to the mosque.

After you explore the bottom part, you should explore the top part of menganti beach. If you want to go the top part, you can take a transport car in free charges. At the top part, it has some instagramable spots for you who want capture the moments with friends or family.  

The first one is Lembah Menguneng or you can called in English Menguneng Valley area. From there, you can take pictures in the sign of menganti beach. Then, when you walk down you can meet the view of camp area on the top of the hills and rocky beach at the bottom. 

The second is the red bridge. It is the most well-known spots in menganti, tourists who go to menganti often looking for this spot, so when you found this spot you will meet crowd of people that queue to take photos. This spot is also good to enjoy the sunrise and sunset.

Menganti has an amazing view in the sunrise and sunset time. Now tourists who want enjoy the view do not need to go in the early morning or go home late anymore because there is menganti cottage that make them easy to enjoy beach in a day. Menganti cottage can be booked by online through the Instagram account of menganti cottage. 

For nature lovers if you want to unite with nature, you can also enjoy camp village at menganti beach.

How to get there? If you domestic tourists who live in java island you can take a private car to menganti by the direction on maps. However, if you feel tired to drive long journey, you can take train to Gombong station. Then, you can find car rent or online transportation to go there. It is about 29 km or an hour from the train station.

For the domestic tourists outside the java island or the foreign tourists, you can take a plane to Yogyakarta International Airport. Then take, the train to Wates station. After that, you can take the train to Gombong station. As you have arrived at Gombong, you can find car rent to go there. The enterance ticket at menganti beach is about 20 thousand Indonesian rupiah, it includes the the parking and the transport car to go the top part of menganti.

Hidden Tropical Paradises in the South of the Java Island Indonesia

Kebumen is a region that is located in southernmost part java island in Central Java, Indonesia. Kebumen has a beautiful nature, it starts from dam, hills, cave and beach. Beach or Pantai (Bahasa Indonesia) is a beautiful nature which can be seen by us easily because most of region in kebumen is located in the south. The beach is enough unique because when we will go there, we must cross streep hill roads. But don't worry... when you arrived there, you will see an amazing view from the top and bottom with instagramable spots.

The Beauty and Culture of Tambaknegara

Tambaknegara tourism village is an old tourism village in Banyumas. It is located in Rawalo, Banyumas. This village is called traditional village because there is Kesepuhan Adat Kalitanjung.

In this village, you can enjoy tourism object Pemandian Tirta Husada Kalibacin. 
There, you can swim at the pool and take some photos. Kalibacin’s water contains some sulphur, iodine, calcium, etc, so it can heal many skin diseases, nerve, and rheumatism. Although it contains sulphure, the Kalibacin’s water is not hot.

 Another destination that you can enjoy is Motion Weir Serayu. Motion Weir Serayu is an artificial dam which has distance 4.2 km from delta of the Serayu and Logawa river. There, you can see a beautiful dam with many green trees which can make us relax. Then in the evening, you can see a beautiful sunset because the hills and the water of Serayu will be looked calm and shining red.

Tambaknegara also has annual Festival which is called Serayu River Festival. It is held for two days. The first day is started with Mimiti ceremony by Kalitanjung’s people then race boat. The second day is started with decorated boat competition, then final race boat. For closing, there will be Banyumas culture shows and Banyumas food festival.

For visiting this village is quite easy. If you are domestic tourist, you can go to Purwokerto by train. After you arrived in Purwokerto railway station, you can take public transportation with code G2 to Bulupitu bus station. Then, you should take  minibus Cilacap destination via Rawalo. 

In addition, if you are foreign tourist, you can visit Indonesia by plane. After you arrived in Jakarta, you can go to Pasar Senen railway station to take the train Purwokerto destination. Then, take public transportation with code G2 to Bulupitu bus station. And the last thing that you can do is: take the minibus Cilacap destination via Rawalo.
